Pengembangan Laboratorium Virtual Untuk Perkuliahan Statistika

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan laboratorium virtual untuk perkuliahan Statistika yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Model ADDIE digunakan sebagai model pengembangan dengan tahapan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Universitas PGRI Palembang dengan melibatkan 37 peserta matakuliah Statistika Dasar. Laboratorium virtual diakses melalui Learning Management System Perguruan Tinggi dan terdiri dari 3 menu utama: modul praktikum, program simulasi dan soal tes. Modul praktikum berisi dasar teori untuk materi yang di-praktikum-kan, perangkat yang perlu dipersiapkan, pengenalan akan program simulasi yang digunakan dan lembar kerja praktikum. Program simulasi berupa tautan untuk dapat mengakses PhET Interactive Simulation, tempat dimana subjek akan melakukan praktikum, dan soal tes berupa kuis yang diikuti secara online. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa laboratorium virtual untuk perkuliahan statistika telah berhasil dikembangkan dan dinyatakan valid menurut pakar, praktis digunakan menurut hasil angket ke subjek penelitian dan cukup efektif terhadap hasil belajar statistika, khususnya materi bentuk dan sebaran data serta materi regresi linier. Dengan demikian, laboratorium virtual yang dikembangkan layak digunakan pada perkuliahan Statistika dan dapat menjadi alternatif lingkungan belajar.
